Ansys CES Las Vegas Convention Center Featuring Talking Robot Photo Booth Las Vegas NV 2020
ANSYS, is a High Tech Engineering Company. For more than 45 years, they have advanced technology to meet evolving customer needs. Ansys develops, markets and supports engineering simulation software that among other things allows automotive manufactures to bench test their autonomous car concepts.
Ansys, contacted Fotoboyz to create something spectacular to go along with their brand new 2 story trade show booth. CES is an annual trade show organized by the Consumer Technology Association. Held in January at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, the event typically hosts presentations of new products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry.
We decided to pull out all the stops and combine our Talking Robot Photo Booth, LED Roving Selfie Booth and our Photo Mosaic Experience. Our team had two of the Talking Robot Photo booths along with the LED Roving Selfie booth to capture all the action. Cool part was our robots roamed the entire show floor including moving between ANSYS’ 4 partner booths. The Robots are able to ‘talk’ (our brand ambassadors stand at a distance with a wireless headset and remote) to trade show attendees and take photos, Animated GIF’s and record boomerang videos. The captured photos are fed into the collection of images for the mosaic experience. Plus, we incorporated custom snap chats style virtual props that added more personalization to the experience. The best part is the attendees were able to simply enter their phone or email address for instant social media sharing. Using their new logo as the target image, we collected 1200+photos to create the Photo Mosaic. We were given the new logo and message to be the target image for the mosaic.
This activation was a huge hit not only with the 180,000 attendees but was also super fun for the other trade show exhibitors to take a break for a moment to have some fun between clients.
The engagements and email open rates were super high. We look forward to seeing all the new technology progress and another fun time next year at CES 2021!
