Wedding Photobooth for Event Planner Sheila Camp Motley

Henry Flagler’s Whitehall estate is still as beautiful and impressive as it was at its completion in 1902 when the New York Herald described it as “More wonderful than any palace in Europe, grander and more magnificent than any other private dwelling in the world….”

On the perfect evening of April 22, 2017, the Palm Beach estate was the location of another of the many grand parties held there over its storied history. After a beautiful wedding joining Tonia and Troy in holy matrimony, their 200 guests boarded luxury buses to attend the lavish reception held in the Kenan Pavilion. The band played lively music while guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio overlooking the Palm Beach Intracoastal before being brought inside by party planner Sheila Motley for the start of the evening.

Visible through the floor to ceiling arched windows and a glass peaked ceiling, the sunset provided an exquisite backdrop for the entrance of the newly married couple! The touching couple’s first dance, as well as the father/ bride and mother/ groom dances officially began the reception, followed by toasts from friends, family, and a very emotional father of the bride who’s toast had many of the guests in happy tears. This gathering of family and friends really adored the bride and groom, who’s love for each other was evident.

Fotoboyz has worked with the team from Sheila Camp Motley Event Design and Management (http://sheilacampmotley.com) many times and always find them professional, creative, and a joy to work with. This time they outdid themselves!! Decorating the already incredible room with large, overflowing rose floral arrangements to complement the bride’s bouquet and combining white table linens with clear lucite chairs, the room was almost as beautiful as the bride! The rose motif carried over to the three tiered wedding cake which was displayed right next to The Fotoboyz photo booth. Our staff ushered guests in and out of the booth very carefully to avoid knocking over the cake!!

Fotoboyz open style booth was the perfect choice for Tonia and Troy’s reception. The rose theme transitioned beautifully into the photo booth through the living wall backdrop. A large gold frame encased the backdrop of white artificial flowers with gorgeous live red, pink, and white roses in full bloom interspersed throughout. What an amazing backdrop!!

Many couples and friends chose to pose in the photo booth without props to capture their gorgeous dresses and stately tuxedos during cocktails and the start of the reception. However the fun array of wigs, boas, hats, sunglasses, and wedding themed signs Fotoboyz provided drew all the guests back in the booth for more fun poses. As the evening progressed, larger groups came in and created fantastic, fun photos with the bride literally coming out of nowhere to photo bomb some of the groups!!

This is what the open style both is all about–it’s ability to capture the joy of a single attendee, wonderful moments between couples, and the all out fun of a large group!!

Between working again with beauty and precision of Sheila Motley’s team, the gorgeous backdrop, the awesome Fotoboyz team, our great props, and a really fun group of guests, the photos from Tonia and Troy’s wedding reception are some of my personal favorites from recent events!!

Designed by the Fotoboyz graphic team, the photo strips were customized with the bride and groom’s logo and their hashtag, #tacsquared, at the bottom of the strip. Guests loved photo booth experience and the resulting photos. They were excited to take the photo strips home to remember their enjoyment of this perfect evening with family, friends, and the new couple–Tonia and Troy!!!
