Happy Birthday to You!! has to be one of the most recognizable songs in the WORLD. On October 21, 2017 Sean “Diddy” Combs sang this tune in honor of Asahd’s first birthday. If that headline alone wasn’t a big enough way to celebrate, Asahd’s father, DJ Khalid, threw a Jungle Themed Birthday Party for his son that will rival ANY celebrity birthday bash!!

LIV (https://www.livnightclub.com), the ultra chic nightclub at Miami’s famed Fountainbleu (https://fontainebleau.com), was turned into a family friendly venue for the birthday celebration. Celebrities, friends, and family of DJ Khalid and Nicole Tuck, his longtime partner and Asahd’s mother, enjoyed entertainment activities such as the yet to be released 2018 version of Dance Party,, petting a live tiger cub, The Lion King themed live dancers, and a baby “valet” station where kids could drive toy versions of luxury automobiles.

Fotoboyz Open Style Photo Booth, Custom Step and Repeat, and Custom SnapChat Filters helped guests remember their grand time at this epic first birthday party. The addition of custom Jungle Themed Props to our regular fun props gave guests a huge variety of choices to make their photos fun and unique. You could hear laughs and see huge smiles when guests received their copies of the photo strip,which was customized to match Asahd’s Jungle Theme. We also had our Social Media Sharing Station set up so guests could receive their images digitally, as well as use the Custom Jungle SnapChat Filter or the Fontainbleu’s SnapChat Filter to create super fun, shareable photos.

The Jungle Themed Custom Backdrop Created for Asahd’s Birthday
Asahd was all smiles throughout the event and loved all the attention guests were giving him. Dressed in matching shirts, he hung out with his Dad for most of the party and seemed a bit underwhelmed with his most extravagant birthday present–a Frank Muller rose gold and diamond wristwatch with his name and birthday engraved on the back that will be given to him to wear when he’s an adult. Little Asahd did have fun in the miniature throne and crown that were gifted to him!!!

While it’s always good to receive gifts, especially when you’re Asahd, it’s also important to give gifts. DJ Khalid announced a collaboration with UNICEF for attendees to donate money or gifts to children around the world who are in need. What an excellent way to put an EXTRA exclamation point on a Great First Birthday Party!!!!!!!!
