Sweet Sixteen was a super special night for Rachel at the beautiful Old Palm Country Club (http://www.oldpalmgolfclub.com). Inspired by legendary Palm Beach architect Addison Mizner that “no wish goes unfilled, no want unsatisified,” the elegant, plush clubhouse provided the backdrop to a night of fun hosted by her parents.
Once the guests dropped their car with the valet, they entered through the soaring arches in to the clubhouse where a large table was decorated with balloons and decorations reflecting the Sweet 16 theme. The table overflowed with gifts for Rachel waiting for her to open and enjoy them at the end of the evening!!! To the right of the entrance the delicious buffet offered choices for any palate to enjoy in the lovely dining area. The flow of the rooms led guests directly to a gorgeous lounge where Fotoboyz LED Vintage Themed Open Style Booth with the Gold Shimmer Backdrop was set up. Darlene, the concierge and event coordinator at Old Palm, worked as the liaison between Rachel’s parents and Fotoboyz.
Open from cocktail hour throughout the evening, guests enjoyed taking photos with Rachel, who was dressed in a gorgeous blue, off the shoulder, floor length gown and a long hairdo topped off with a tiara. Our fun props were a mega hit at this Sweet 16 party!!! Guests had a blast switching the props around for their 3 photos in the photo strip. Laughter was heard in the booth as well as out of the booth when their just taken photos appeared on the 50” Screen to view. The slideshow of all the photos taken ran throughout the night, and guests had a blast seeing their friend’s and family’s photos!!!
Fotoboyz also had our Social Media Sharing Station set up so guests could send a copy of their photos digitally to their email, text a copy to themselves or friends, or share a copy via social media.
At the end of the evening, Angel and Will presented Rachel with the Interactive Scrapbook they had created by pasting an extra copy of all the photo strips in to a scrapbook. Rachel’s friends and family then wrote special notes and good wishes to Rachel on her 16th birthday. She was so excited to receive such a personal, fun memory of her Sweet 16 party!!
Fotoboyz thanks Darlene for inviting us to the beautiful Old Palm Country Club and for letting us be a part of Rachel’s special day. We are already planning our next event with Darlene and look forward to helping make lasting memories and lots of fun at future events!
